Qualifications

Michael A. LaPorte is a Registered Representative and Principal with Walnut Street Securities and holds the Series 7 license. He also holds a state life and health insurance license. Michael is an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) with Walnut Street Securities.

Mr. LaPorte is a CLU, a Chartered Life Underwritier.  The CLU is the nation's foremost professional designation for men and women in life insurance field services and management.  The American College of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, awards the designation to persons who fulfill regorous educational, experience, and ethical requirements.

Michael has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the St. Francis University of Pennsylvania, and is a Fellow with the Life Underwriter's Training Council.

Mr. LaPorte has established the LaPorte Financial Group as an independent organization and works with various insurance companies and Walnut Street Securities in an effort to provide unbiased advice and information regarding all facets of insurance, investments, and financial services.  The LaPorte Financial Group truly assists individuals in reaching their true lifestyle planning goals and desires.

Mr. LaPorte believes in developing relationships with his clients built on a solid foundation of honesty and integrity. His goal is to help his clients make the most appropriate choices about their financial future, based on their own goals and objectives. Michael feels that assisting his clients in making these solid choices will be in the best interest of both the client and the advisor in the long term.
